I am against slick lawyers coming in and taking advantage of a program that was designed for a specific audience and a specific purpose.

I think it's only in Washington that something as innovative and has driven so much growth and new ideas as the Internet, where we would end up with an order that essentially applies 1930s-style utility regulation.

I know my time is up but I'll do a follow-up question because there's a specific example I can think of where, frankly, already Europeans are purposing things that are not as onerous as what was purposed overall by the Commission.

I certainly do not want to be outdone by New Jersey or Minnesota.

It does have a number of good government provisions.

I also wanted to ask about the coordination between airports and airlines, and what TSA is doing to ensure effective coordination as you respond to questions from travelers on new security initiatives or modified security initiatives.

I wanted to follow up with you on what I had asked about in my opening statement, the Transportation Security Acquisition Reform Act, that we had worked on, and signed into law late last year.

I completely, wholeheartedly agree with my colleague, Senator McCaskill, on this.

what is the current status of our retrograde and reset efforts from Iraq and Afghanistan, and what equipment shortfalls would we face if we were forced to surge in the next 12 months?

I like to hear that. We hear about delays and things. Wildly successful----
