I miss my time on the House Veterans Affairs Committee and I was honored and delighted to serve for 6 years.
I was so proud of the bipartisan work that we did on this Committee while I was a Member during my first 6 years in Congress.
I urge the Committee to consider this legislation for markup and believe that it can be passed through the House on suspension.
My constituents in New Hampshire are aware of these crises, and we are all too familiar that approximately 20 veterans and 1-2 servicemembers die by suicide every day.
