I think we can universally agree that there was a breach in confidence because you couldn't trust the NRC at one point in time.
I am skeptical--skeptical, Mr. Cole, that such a diversion would be beneficial given the other important matters before this Commission.
I think it is legislative malpractice to not recognize that there has been--well, now we know, some holes in those procedures.
Simply, a lot of people say it can't be done. Congress did it by shutting down 1,200 online pharmacies that were black market pharmacies.
I am very interested in the state of online gaming in the United States and think the issue is ripe for Congress to conduct oversight of the matter.
This legislation addresses a timely issue--the legality of online gaming, specifically pertaining to Internet poker.
And that would be a ripe one for the Supreme Court to probably take up on a fast track.
When Mr. Barton first introduced this bill, a lot of us thought it was pretty way out there.
There is a point when it goes too far. Simply because we can, doesn't mean we should.
