Heidi Heitkamp is an American politician and attorney who served as the United States Senator from North Dakota from 2013 to 2019. A member of the Democratic-NPL Party, she was the first woman elected to the Senate from North Dakota. I think it is critically important that we make the public understand that we simply went in the bill from designating automatically to basically allowing the regulators to designate some entity as a SIFI.
