I want to associate myself with your opening statement. Also, I want to thank the thousands of Americans who responded to the destruction of Helene in the North Carolina mountains by donating everything you can imagine to people there.

Is it correct that FEMA delivered aid to the state then simply absolved itself from ensuring the aid actually reached the people it was intended to help?

We are so proud to have you represent App State, and we appreciate all the support you have provided to educators, schools, and classrooms not only in North Carolina, but across the nation.

I have long believed the most important work in schools happens at the State and local level.

I think it is very exciting that we are seeing this new approach to preparing people to teach by doing the things you are doing.

It is not a mystery to me it seems that we have had difficulty in the last few years recruiting people to go into teaching.
