We should have accountability for all sectors of education because the tax payers are paying one way or another for what passes as education in these institutions.

I do not understand why we want to burden people all over this country to pay for programs for prisons by giving them Pell Grants when the States themselves can take care of this.
One of the things I am proud of is that we as a committee have really begun to talk about skills education in conjunction with what has traditionally been called higher education or as I prefer to call it, post-secondary education.
We are the source for the future workshop and what we call new collar jobs, jobs that are middle skills that pay well.
Contrary to Democrats' claims, it is possible to protect and promote the well-being of workers while being fiscally responsible.

Right now, there are more than 7 million unfilled jobs in the United States, many of which remain open because there are not enough workers with the necessary skills to fill them.
