The ACA was sold on one of the biggest political lies of all times: 'If you like your plan, you can keep it.'

But here is the concern that I have.

Because let me tell you what I found in talking to my law enforcement officers of both Democrats and Republicans, sheriffs of both parties, is they understand how to go after the traditional threats.

I would like to first begin by offering not only my thoughts, but my prayers for the victims and families that we lost in this summer's string of terror attacks throughout the world, specifically this June.

So your testimony here today is that Huma Abedin said that she would prefer to have Ms. Clinton's email on a private server versus a server that was actually managed by someone else.

Well, in 2009 they were, because I was using them. And so they were available then.

You set up a server for the sole reason, as it relates to Ms. Clinton, so that she could use a domain name and have those private emails at her domain name served on that server.

Whether it is Colin Powell or Hillary Clinton, they do not belong to those individuals. They belong to the American people.

I want a direct response.

It is with unbelievable speed when it fits the narrative that you want to do.

So how much of that are we going to tolerate?

All right. Well, what is a reasonable time? If 7 days is not reasonable what is a reasonable time?

So you would say that that report could be accurate? You're getting the same----

14 days--give us 14 days, yes.

I think that's the only thing that's left to do is to help the people that are starving and being oppressed.

The humanitarian relief that needs to get to needy families and citizens could be stopped because of the unintended consequences of a new law

If we make too many idle threats that are not backed up by action then ultimately what happens is the threat becomes irrelevant.

Mr. Meadows. I thank the gentleman. This has been a good hearing.

We need within a 60-day timeframe for you to get back to this committee on how you are going to resolve the outstanding issues with the IG.

But any time that we build two prisons 75 miles apart that really are not being occupied and really don't have--unless you are going to ship in Federal inmates from outside the Navajo territory, it is going to be very hard to fill it up.

Mr. Meadows. What concerns me is not just with the hard-working American taxpayer dollar that we are looking at in this $32 million discrepancy.

So, so they adjusted the master plan that they started with. I guess you adjusted it after the laws were passed, thinking that it was going to change.

Yes, I am very aware of those. Like I say, I have got Native American tribes in my area, and they actually lobbied for some of that. But it doesn't necessarily translate into additional inmates.

But with the lack of specificity with regards to, you know, it is almost like we have this unbelievable outbreak of crime on the Navajo facility that we start to build these huge facilities that we can't staff and we don't have enough…
