I think it is vital that we look beyond the economics of this issue.

It is the children who are separated from their mothers and fathers because of the pull of drugs and alcohol.

Indian gaming is very, very important in Indian Country. This is a very important issue.

I am going to continue to try to fight for adequate funding for a lot of these underfunded programs.

We really need to provide these children with a high quality, culturally-responsible education that will keep them in school and give them options.

Somewhere this system of juvenile justice is broken and it is especially broken for Native children.

I think predictability in funding is really critically important in a lot of these programs.

I agree that incarceration should be the last resort when dealing with our Native youth.

Simply put, if we do not do that, we have failed these children in so many, many ways.

I appreciate what you are doing.

I think we have to be careful as policymakers, if we were to pass a bill that tells you to release any personally identifiable data.

We have reduced our cumulative deficits by about $4.5 trillion since 2010.
