My recommendation is for a long-term commitment to Afghanistan from the US, NATO, and Coalition nations.

By necessity, the components of the Total Army must be complementary.

On page 24 of your answers with regard to electronic warfare and spectrum operations, you say, among other things, Russia and China have each committed significant resources.

I believe the U.S. commitment to the NATO article 5 obligations is critical to U.S. strategic interests.

There is a national unity government. I believe personally there is much work to do there as well.

We risk tossing away hard-fought and hard-won gains.

I believe it's unfortunate that policy fights and distrust between the Guard and the Active Army have become prevalent over the last 6 years.
