Tim Walz is an American politician serving as the 41st governor of Minnesota since January 2019. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously represented Minnesota's 1st congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2007 to 2019. During his time in Congress, Walz focused on issues such as veterans' affairs, education, and healthcare, advocating for policies that support working families and rural communities.
There has been a concerted effort of local, State, private partners to build intercity rail.
I went out and built a coalition amongst democrats and republicans. It is supported by most major veteran service organizations.
I do not understand how someone, I do not know, sitting in office, I do not know where it is at can trump the will of 650,000 southern Minnesotans, thousands of veterans, veteran service organizations, the Chairman, the Ranking Member.
And, unfortunately, the people that are going to pay the ultimate price here are the veterans of this country which to me is a great injustice.
I do not often get to quote President Reagan, trust but verify. We will see this one.

I, too, want to thank the chairman and the ranking member, who not only have worked unwaveringly to craft a great piece of legislation, but collaborating, shepherding this thing through, saving taxpayer money, supporting jobs, streamlining…
