I'm not running against President Biden, I'm running for the majority of Americans who want somebody different.

I unequivocally stand united with all of my colleagues in these efforts.

The attack that Hamas perpetrated on Israel on October 7th was just despicable. Unspeakable evil, over 1,500 human beings murdered in cold blood.

As Members of Congress it is our responsibility to do everything in our power to ensure that these terrorists are held to account.

The fact that U.S. materials are being used in Iranian drones that attack American and partner forces and kill Ukrainian civilians is completely unacceptable.

Revenue from oil sales, primarily to China, provides significant resources that enable the Iranian regime to advance its nuclear program, continue its support for terrorism, and maintain its repression of the Iranian people.

Iran continues to support proxy terror all around the region that reigns on our ally Israel regularly and continues to demand the destruction of the United States of America.

I am a fierce defender of Israel, I have great affection for its people. I despise Hamas...

I'm also proud to co-lead this critical piece of legislation that seeks to prevent the use of American technology in Iranian drones.

I just ask that we remember that the majority of Palestinians are not Hamas, and that Hamas does not represent the Palestinian people.

Congress must act soon. And that also means we need to elect a speaker so that we can use all the tools at our disposal to prevent the proliferation of Iranian missiles and drones to protect Americans both at home and abroad.

I want to reiterate my comments about our shared commitment to deterring countries from buying illicit Iranian oil.

I just want to comment that we all know that the oil market is a global market that is affected by supply and demand.

It's meaningful to us. It's important to us. And we are feeling feelings, and fears, and threats that I think none of us ever anticipated feeling in this country as Americans.

I am disappointed about the implications that such a broad imposition of sanctions will have on Palestinian civilians.

I support Representative Jacobs' amendment that would strengthen humanitarian exceptions in the bill.

That's why I believe we must use all the tools at our disposal to address the illegal source of Iranian revenue.

Thank you for leading this committee in such a thoughtful, principled, and effective manner at a time where we need more of that in this institution.

We have got to do everything we can to investigate and most importantly recoup billions of dollars that were literally stolen from American taxpayers.

I share every one of my colleagues' disgust by the scale of fraud that took place during the pandemic.

When dealing with Iran I believe it's clear that the regime poses a present danger to the United States of America.

The policy, sadly, of the Administration have emboldened the regime.

We need a new approach. Don't stand with us. Let's sit down together and figure it out.

The threats posed by the Iranian regime have never been greater.

It is willfully negligent to assert that the regime plans to use the money for humanitarian purposes.
