The secret money is flooding our elections, denying voters a right to know who is trying to influence their vote. Spending for the 2020 election cycle was approximately $14 billion. That’s more than double the 2016 election cycle.

We have 261 million doses of vaccine in people's arms. We have over 58 percent of Americans with at least one dose.
We have to make sure that our comprehensive strategy... is around vaccinations, around surveillance testing, around treatment, social distancing and masks.
I think, in this moment we are at a critical moment for our response to this pandemic.
And I`m proud of Joe Biden for standing up against it and understanding that there are still Republicans -- we know this from the polls and independents -- that support what he`s doing.
And I think when you have a major faction of a major political party that is literally denying the results of an election, that is literally, some of them, embracing QAnon, and other people aren`t decrying it, you have got a major problem…
Yes. And, that being said, I saw the courage of Mitt Romney standing up many, many times over the last few years.
Yes, it`s something. And I have 25 ideas at the end of the book, some of which are for regular people that they can do, as opposed to members of Congress, where there`s a lot we can do.
I come to this with a core value that when people have the right to come together and collectively organize for better working conditions, better benefits, better wages, that they do better, their families do better, and we all do better.
Those employers trying to compete against businesses that are engaging in wage theft is an unfair, unequal playing field for them.
To be clear, wage theft is illegal. This is not sort of a discretionary question.
Trickle-down economics is not working for working people, and especially for lower-wage working people
I think that we are touching on the trauma and the devastation, really, that so many Americans have experienced due to this pandemic.
COVID is laying bare the inequities. It is not creating the inequity, but it is showing us what it is.
It is immoral and disgraceful. In Minnesota, a 2016 analysis showed that black Minnesotans are twice as likely as Minnesotans as a whole to live within 2½ miles of a payday loan store.
I think you may know this, that I am really proud to be working with Senator Murray and others on our Committee on the Child Care for Working Families Act.
Even before the pandemic, childcare was a huge struggle for families, the lack of access, the lack of affordability.
I think this is exactly the kind of solution that we need in order to address this problem of childcare.
I agree with that. You know, Senator Grassley and I have this bill, the Merger Filing Fee Modernization Act, which time has come.
Remember these lawsuits against Google and Facebook were filed under the previous administration. And a lot of success that we`ve seen over the years in taking on monopoly power, does bridge administrations.
So, now, it’s on us. So I thought, ok, I am going to write this big book. I’m going to try to make it interesting, throw in a bunch of cartoons.
