I think it is our concern that there has been a perceived, increasingly-aggressive approach by the EEOC to enforcing federal nondiscrimination laws with questionable benefits for employees.

Federal laws prohibiting employment discrimination should be vigorously and fairly enforced.

We should not be diverting scarce resources away from workers who believe they have been harmed.

We want to ensure the American people work in an environment free of discrimination.

I think there is still, of course, some uncertainty about the why and wherefore of certain cases.
