I had a very, very interesting, helpful, and in-depth 3-hour meeting with the Secretary of State.

I, for one, am very grateful and most appreciative of the almost superhuman efforts that the Secretary has made.

There was no argument about the number one issue in this campaign: inflation and its crippling effect on our economy and on the lives of all...

I also congratulate the winners of both parties and extend my sympathy to those who lost.
