We look forward to seeing the House pass this bill quickly and encourage the Senate to take it up without delay.

The Ukraine Support Act can deliver that assistance, as well as to impose additional sanctions on Russia to hold it accountable for its brutal war.

In their battle for democracy, self-determination, and the preservation of their territorial integrity, they deserve our help and our material support.

Few have demonstrated as much courage and perseverance in our modern history as the people of Ukraine.

Mr. Speaker, yesterday, the gentleman from California, Mr. Kiley, added the 218th signature to the discharge petition for the Ukraine Support Act.

Congress must assert its oversight power and use every tool to hold this President and his Administration accountable to the American people.

This is just the latest example of this Administration’s rampant corruption.

The giveaway of taxpayer funds to the President’s political supporters as a reward for their loyalty to him over their patriotism to our country is wrong and disgusting.

Our Framers never envisioned a president using his authority over the enforcement of the law to force a favorable settlement in his own tax case and shield his family and Trump-affiliated companies from future audits.

Americans deserve to have their government and their representatives work to bring energy costs down, not up.

The President believes he is the law. That is a dangerous phenomenon, ladies and gentlemen.

If we abdicate our responsibility as a coequal branch of government, we will no longer be one.
