At a time when creating jobs is our top priority here in Congress, I believe we must consider that regulation has the potential to actually create jobs, as Mr. Kucinich just said.

We want to get rid of regulations that make no sense.

Thank God some OSHA rules have come about where you now have to wear masks. Because people want to go to work, they want jobs, but they want to come home safely to their families and not be shipped to them in a coffin.

But we must be very, very careful, because regulations were, after all, put forth to make sure that the American people's health, safety, and welfare are protected.
