Campaign season is over. It is time to govern. I urge my colleagues to reject this hyperpartisan bill and pass the bipartisan Senate bill.

There was a victory on that front, a bipartisan one, that is, you know, not really talked about that often, and that was the revision of NAFTA, the USMCA.

So, it would undermine our future. It would undermine our ability to grow a strong workforce that can compete with the rest of the world.

You are sponsoring yet another massive tax cut that is estimated to cost about $2 trillion or more.

Just one last point. Mr. Harris, I would say to you, we ought to tax sugary beverages, which I introduced many years ago to do that, in which case that would cut down on some of the health impacts that we see today.
