We just want to make sure you have the chance to wear them on your shoulders.

We, in Maryland, feel so proud of military medicine, because we are the home to the new Naval Bethesda Walter Reed.

That's got the biggest applause going yet.

I mean, you know, we make much of evidence-based medicine, and I think we're all there. We can't afford to waste time or dollars.

I think you're breaking history books in terms of lives saved, and it's an unparalleled seamless network.

I'm very frustrated by this.

I hope you take a look at the legislation. I really want to help move the JOLT Act.

We need to enhance and facilitate people being able to visit our country.

I am a strong supporter of this bill.

I think the Visa Waiver Program Enhanced Security and Reform Act is an opportunity to revisit, refresh, and reform the Visa Waiver Program.

We also, though, while we encourage visitors, need to stand steadfast and true to protect our borders.

Let's all work together, so that we can be a more frugal Government, and have some smart funding initiatives.

We really do want to let the people who work at Commerce know... thank the 40,000-plus people who work hard every day to create jobs.

Now, I'm not faulting the people who work for the Census Bureau, but, again, I worked with Secretary Guttierez, then Secretary Locke, and now you, Sir, and once again, now, we're hearing, 'Oh. The census [cost] might double.'

The coast is part of our heritage, part of our identity, but it's also a big part of our economy.

We need to really now take a real steadfast attempt to bring these things that are always out of control, always coming over budget, under really a far greater fiscal discipline.

We wonder where the NOAA agency will go, and will it stay in Commerce.

We need a sequencing plan. We need a money plan to match what needs to be done.

What happens on a coast drives our economy.

But, you need to know this.

The standards for technology? Standards for management? What----

We face the same issues, whether it's our rockfish population or crabs. We do need accurate assessments.

Cyber espionage is a very considerable threat. We're not fully prepared, as a country, to address that.
