Stephen Francis Lynch is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Massachusetts's 8th congressional district since 2001. A member of the Democratic Party, Lynch has focused on issues such as healthcare, labor rights, and economic development throughout his tenure. He has been an advocate for working families and has worked to secure funding for various projects in his district.

I fully support Mr. Foster's bill, H.R. 3305, which would change the whole dynamic of raising the debt limit.
I actually had a bill that dealt with converting diesel buses in the transportation bill and converting the entire postal fleet to electric.
During the INVEST Act, I included language to ensure our nation's transit system, including ferries, is equipped with the necessary resources to combat cybersecurity attacks.
I represent the Port of Boston, so not quite as bad, congestion-wise, as Mr. Sires is having in New Jersey, but we consider our ferry system a real blessing.
I want to thank the chair, and I want to thank the full committee chair, Mr. DeFazio, because he has been an outstanding champion of expanding and improving upon our ferry systems.
