Let us not forget that we must operate based upon the cornerstones that have defined America as we attempt to care for all of our children.

If that was a crisis, then there are no words for what we experienced at the border during fiscal year 2019.

Migrants are giving up their life savings, mortgaging their homes and farms, and handing over their children to smugglers, because they are falsely being told that children are 'visas' to get into this country.

This past year we saw what some Democrats on this committee called a 'Fake Emergency' explode as over 977,000 people attempted to illegally enter the United States.

My point is simply this. The state of Texas I can speak to. I can't speak to the other 49 states. We take women's health very seriously, and we should.

It is shocking that our department of health is headed by a physician, Dr. Randall Williams, and more shocking is that he is an OB/GYN. He knows better.

I support and trust the private personal health choices of women.

The responsibility for failure primarily lies with Congress, not with the boots on the ground and not with the Executive.

Is there more that the United States as well as the private sector can do to prevent the internet from being an incubator for extremist content?

I believe that our Nation is on that journey.
