The Mercury Air Toxic Standards, MATS, was created to regulate mercury levels, and I think it's important to today's conversation to discuss where mercury comes from and how we in the United States are primarily exposed to it.

I think Mr. Phillips mentioned that some of the smaller companies can't deal with it as much as some of the bigger companies.

I want to ensure students and families make informed decisions about their education.

I tell people back home quite often that a lot of the stuff that happens here happens in working together in bipartisanship.

We need to deal with prescription drug prices and preferably through the marketplace and bringing competition to the marketplace

We have to work together to protect the most vulnerable among us, and we have to find ways to ensure that an outbreak of measles once again becomes a rarity in this country.

Thank you, Chair DeGette, for holding this important and timely hearing. This is an area of bipartisan interest.

Measles is an extremely contagious virus. It can cause significant respiratory symptoms, fever, and rash.

I am encouraged by EPA's commitment to ensuring compliance with these important environmental laws.

This has been an important hearing and I appreciate everybody being here.

I think we can all agree that the desired outcome of any compliance program is to prevent pollution and protect our environment for ourselves, our children, and our grandchildren.

The EPA must develop and enforce environmental regulations for laws such as the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Safe Drinking Water Act, to name just a few.

Health insurance has just become unaffordable because so many of the mandates that are there

The President has offered... a path to citizenship for DACA.

This policy was bad. I didn't support it. We shouldn't have done it that way.
