Kentucky has suffered one of the worst natural disasters in years, with impacts felt statewide.

We have hundreds of families that have been impacted that are gonna be digging out and mucking out today that have lost so much.

I’m sad to share the number of those lost to the weather this week has grown to 21, with the most recent a man in Logan County.

I am disappointed by this decision and believe the company's founder would be, too. This company's name starts with Kentucky, and it has marketed our state's heritage and culture in the sale of its product.

My hope is that the company will rethink moving Kentucky Fried Chicken employees out of Kentucky.

I am disappointed by this decision and believe the company's founder would be, too.

The temperatures are dropping dangerously low, and we need to do everything possible to keep our neighbors safe.

We’ve got more winter weather headed our way, Kentucky, with widespread snow accumulation, low temperatures and dangerous road conditions expected.

If you can’t turn your heat on by this afternoon, you need to call a family member or friend and go stay with them.

Unfortunately, right now it is for most all of the commonwealth, save for parts of northern Kentucky.

From Tuesday night to Wednesday night we have another weather event coming into the commonwealth.

We will dig out, we will muck out, we’ll rebuild every single structure that’s here and we’ll make sure there’s a bright future for Pike County.

This is one of the most serious weather events we’ve dealt with in at least a decade.
