Andy Graham Beshear is the 63rd Governor of Kentucky, having taken office on December 10, 2019. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as the Attorney General of Kentucky from January 4, 2016, until December 10, 2019. As governor, Beshear has focused on issues such as healthcare, education, and economic development, aiming to improve the quality of life for Kentuckians. He has also been vocal about the importance of community support and unity during times of crisis.
We would have had a lot of them, but some of our Republican state legislators basically threatened them in an open committee meeting, saying they might pull their projects from the road plan.
