Again this was a pin distributed back in my district by the ``Speak Out For Stephanie Foundation'' in honor of Crime Victims' Week last week, again we were so focused on taxes that last week, I am not sure if there is any connection here between being victims of crime and talking about taxes, but in any event, we did not give it the attention we needed to last week, and I felt compelled tonight to raise the issue of the victims of violent crime and indicate that Congress does have a role to play in that. Other areas of criminal law, I prefer to leave to the States.
