the idea that you would raise taxes on the American public when we are in this sort of financial condition in the country right now doesn't seem rational.
Seems to me that that is something we are going to have to do long term to maintain economic competitiveness for us, is just to try to stimulate capital formulation and probably tax more on the consumption side of the equation.
