My Democratic colleagues have done a great job of showing that there is absolutely zero evidence linking President Joe Biden to any wrongdoing. Zero. None.

We're not only a Nation of immigrants, but also a Nation built on the idea of the American Dream.

The fact is that people who immigrate to this country are deeply grateful.

Is it true that in 2019 refugees contributed $25 billion in taxes, an additional $68 billion in spending power? Isn't that correct?

I support fair immigration processes that really support human beings as people.

I believe this is now hearing number 11 on the border.

Let's remind everyone that the largest and most recognizable American companies were founded by immigrants or children of immigrants.

And Big Pharma, as we have heard today and have heard in their former public statements, are suing to overturn that, which is quite shameful, honestly.

Democrats have expanded negotiating for the best price for prescription drugs and Medicare. Again, Republicans opposed that.

President Biden and House Democrats passed the biggest prescription drug reform in decades in the Inflation Reduction Act that was brought up multiple times today, and every, by the way, single Republican voted against it.

If we are going to have actually reform here within this incredibly important part of the kind of American economy and people's healthcare, that reform is going to happen on both sides.

It has been noted multiple times that PBMs control almost 80 percent of the entire market, which is enormous.

We know that last year, the three major PBMs, which I just mentioned, here in the U.S. made almost $30 billion in profits.

It's really unfortunate that we continue to push vaccine hesitancy not just in this committee but across the country.

I want to thank you, Dr. Shane, for being part of the medical community that actually worked to save lives, not to try to cause disinformation that actually got people killed during the pandemic.

And I know this because I, myself, am part of the community.

Now, over 20 Republican-led State legislatures have criminalized health care for LGBTQ+ people, forcing families to travel hundreds of miles and even flee their communities to access lifesaving medically recommended care.
