Governor Greg Abbot... took horrific actions by illegally deploying actual floating buoys, which we saw with blades on them, to maim innocent people at the border.

We should be clear that there is no way to an orderly border without a conversation about legal pathways.

I hope the American people understand how much damage and chaos, of course, this would unleash.

the U.S. under the Biden Administration has been incredibly strong on taking on Iran on the issue of human rights.

I think we can all agree that Iran is an oppressive and dangerous neighbor to everyone in the region.

The track record on the House Republican side as it relates to this issue and the pandemic has been quite shameful.

Vaccines save lives. The pandemic cost us 1.3 plus million Americans. It is the single, largest, most devastating loss of life event that we have had in the modern era.

We cannot be afraid of asking questions and we cannot be afraid of the truth.

We should encourage more reporting, not less, on UAPs.

We should come to this hearing with an open mind, and we should not let our existing ideas restrict us on either side.

If people cannot report incidents which would have national security or safety implications, then that also has serious consequences for us.
