Dwight D. Eisenhower was the 34th President of the United States, serving from 1953 to 1961. A member of the Republican Party, he was born in Kansas and rose to prominence as a five-star general in the United States Army during World War II. Eisenhower served as the Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Forces in Europe, overseeing the successful D-Day invasion and the liberation of Western Europe from Nazi control.
We must open wider the doors of opportunity to our million and a half farm families with extremely low incomes for their own well-being and for the good of our country and all our people.
Any treaty or executive agreement in conflict with this Constitution shall have no force or effect.
No matter what part of the country a serviceman comes from, no matter what his race or religion, he wants to feel confident that what he is doing is important to other human beings, and that they are grateful for it.
