The Public Record
Dwight D. Eisenhower was the 34th President of the United States, serving from 1953 to 1961. A member of the Republican Party, he was born in Kansas and rose to prominence as a five-star general in the United States Army during World War II. I tell you this: I am going to accept that invitation to come back, just as soon as possible.
