I planned to reoffer this amendment today but, in the interest of time, I will not offer that amendment if I can have the assurance of the chairman that language will be placed in the statement of the managers for this bill directing the Department of the Interior and the Forest Service to promulgate rules assuring public comment on the placement of telecommunications devices on park, refuge, and Forest Service land.
