I encourage all Members to support this legislation, and I yield back the balance of my time.

I encourage the Members on our side the aisle and all of our colleagues to support this good piece of legislation, and I yield back the balance of my time.
I think this is an absolute failure. I think it is putting lipstick on a pig and pouring millions, if not billions of dollars into a system that is not providing the best care for veterans, period.
I want to thank the Ranking Member Takano for working with me over the last few months to refine the EHR reset legislation.
thank you for this opportunity and for your unwavering support of our nation's Veterans and those who have dedicated their life work to delivering on our promises.
I have some serious concerns as far as AV trucking. And I want to be real clear that I am not opposed to it.
My big concern is, is that the only ones who will have access are the mega trucking companies and/or those that can make the major investments and that it will strangle the small trucking companies out of business.
I also have concerns about how much safety it is that we can actually put in autonomous trucks.
I thank Representatives Rosendale, Hudson, DesJarlais, Self, Cammack, Higgins, Ogles, Miller, Boebert, Van Orden, and Kiggans for joining me on this amendment. Madam Chair, I encourage all of my colleagues to support this amendment, and I…
I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of the bill (before the short title) insert the following: Sec. 419. None of the funds made…
I am glad that was brought up, the claim that the bureaucrats do not do this. It is only the bureaucrats that recommend to the NICS list, and then the Department of Justice does this. They take away a right of a veteran where any other…
Right now, you have no way of proving why Mr. DelBene has ever recused himself.
All we are trying to do is make sure that the rights of our veterans are the exact same rights that every other citizens have.
VA should not be able to take away a veteran's Second Amendment rights because they need help managing their benefits.
Do you believe an American citizen is due their day in court before they lose a constitutional right?
This bill is not about guns on demand, but about due process and the Constitution.
Even criminals have to be convicted of a crime in a court of law before their names are reported to NICS.
I am arguing about the fact that veterans are losing their constitutional right without due process.
Given that, do you think a veteran, at the very minimum, should have the same due process rights as every other American before they lose their constitutional right?
Again, the VFW thanks you and Ranking Member Takano for the opportunity to testify on these important issues before this committee.
What we are doing with the process is we are punishing our veterans for simply seeking help.
I want no veteran to commit suicide. I also do not want any veteran to lose the rights that they were willing to fight for.
