The next Attorney General must bring hope and healing to the country, and this demands a more courageous empathy than Senator Sessions' record demonstrates.

The forces of law and order in Alabama were so strong, that to take a stand against this injustice we had to be willing to sacrifice our lives for our cause.

He has demonstrated a total disregard for the equal application of justice and protection of the law as it applies to African Americans.
