I think we've learned that this new approach of doing it from the State up seems to work a lot better and actually gets results.

Jim Risch is an American politician serving as the junior United States senator from Idaho since 2009. A member of the Republican Party, Risch previously held the position of lieutenant governor of Idaho from 2006 to 2009 and served in the Idaho State Senate from 2002 to 2006. I hope the Federal Government will be a good neighbor and will do as well as the State is on their grounds on stopping fires.
The Forest Service needs to step it up. If you step it up you'll get rid of the fuel.
How about one program with a very smart person heading that program? That is what we do in the private sector.
This stuff is not rocket science. When I became governor, we had the same problem in Idaho. I built two nursing schools and paid the teachers more and all of the sudden the nursing shortage went away.
This issue is not a new issue, and we are so glad to have somebody from Micron Technology here.
We have realized that in Idaho a long time ago. We have between the State and our businesses in Idaho we have a strong, strong working partnership.
