tonight, as part of the Republican Health Care Public Affairs Team, my co-chair, the gentleman from Pennsylvania (Mr. Murphy), and I are here with a couple of our colleagues to talk about, over the next hour, one of the most important things to the people of this great country, and that is health care and our health care system. We have a great system, without question, probably the greatest health care system on Earth. But we are not going to just stand up here during this next hour or as we go forward with our Health Care Public Affairs Team and on a monthly basis, talk about different health care issues that are so important to this Nation and pat ourselves on the back. We are not going to do that. We are going to talk about some problems that exist. Tonight, we are going to focus primarily on the civil justice system and trying to solve a problem in regard to medical liability insurance and the lack of access to care.
