Thank you so much for continuing to bring these important measures before the body today.

The Public Record
Lucy Kay McBath is an American politician and former flight attendant currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Georgia's 6th congressional district, a position she has held since January 3, 2019. She has been an active voice in Congress, focusing on public safety, education, and healthcare reform.
We have got to make sure that our laws are serving the needs of persons such as yourselves.
I am proud to represent Georgia's 6th District, which is home to many members of the creative community.
I believe that we can maintain the internet as a critical place for the spread of information and ideas while also making sure that our artists can actually make a living.
Do you think this is an acceptable way to treat someone that you described as both a partner and a customer?
And many of you have mentioned John Lewis today and his fight for equality and that I know that all my colleagues and I will carry on.
Apple sidelined Screen Time's competition by keeping them out of the App Store.
If Amazon didn't have monopoly power over these sellers, do you think they would choose to stay in a relationship that is characterized by bullying, fear, and panic?
This is fundamentally unfair and harms small businesses that rely on you to reach customers.
Unfortunately, this fits a larger pattern of your Administration, neglecting the health and safety of Americans.
Will you stop playing politics with Americans' healthcare in the middle of a pandemic?
Will you reverse your course and make sure that millions of Americans like me that depend on healthcare and treatment to stay alive, will you reverse your course to make sure that we have the ability to be able to live in this country…
So, I am asking you, sir, not to gamble with American lives, not to gamble with my life.
stripping millions of Americans of their health care in the middle of a pandemic
I will continue to fight until the necessary funding we need and that was passed by the House in the HEROES Act 2 months ago, reaches our schools that are so desperate, desperately needing those resources.
The HEROES Act does provide for increased funding for mental health services, and it also gives the resources necessary to stop the spread of this very devastating disease.
If the administration had acted earlier to prevent the spread of COVID-19, I really believe we would not be in this predicament at this time.
I think the Senate needs to understand that leadership needs to happen, and our Nation is waiting, and our parents are watching.
