I do not believe that we can fix Afghanistan, personally.

I believe that a nation can only fix itself.

I absolutely believe that withdrawal from Afghanistan needs to occur.

I take at face value President Trump's desire to help bring to a close--and the ranking member and I have had conversations about this, and we do not see this as a partisan issue.

I am asking you to include the funding for nonhuman mammalian embryological experiments under the NASA science account in fiscal year 2021 in the CJS appropriations bill.
