Xi Jinping is the most accomplished human rights violator alive today, and history will record that.

The Chinese Communist Party's repression is the greatest threat to global human rights and Democratic freedoms.

We know what is going on over there, and we are going to let the world know what is going on. It is unacceptable.

The social credit scores of China--wow, what a powerful tool. Would any government love to be able to control their citizens, so that nobody runs a red light, nobody crosses, jaywalks? What a great tool. But what a threat to freedom and…

I do not want to buy anything from China.

I told them to mind their own business; I will meet with whomever I want to.

We can support that movement, but we cannot do a top-down from America that says, 'You need a democracy.'

It makes me sick that they come out in defense of China, but yet they are actively supporting a government that is actively suppressing the people.

The message we need to send to China is--and to our manufacturers is to institute what we have deemed the ABC policy in manufacturing, and that is called manufacture anywhere but China, because it is about the money.

Thank you, Mr. Chairman, and I appreciate everybody's testimony. I think it all comes down to the money, and I am going to address that later.

I would like to thank Chairman Sherman and Representative Yoho and all of the members of this committee for giving me the chance to share my story and be the voice of my people here today.

Every time you buy a product that says, 'Made in China' you are empowering the suppressive Communist regime.

It is unacceptable. We have been through this before.

But what a threat to freedom and liberty.

The people of Haiti deserve to have the freedom and liberties that we have, that we believe in.

We have to respect the rule of law; we have to have the rule of law, and are we willing to carry it out?

For Haiti to have less than 20 percent of the population have running water in the 21st century in the Western Hemisphere, I cannot comprehend that.

We have to have somebody that is willing to stand up in Haiti, and the Haitian people need to demand this.

The people of Haiti are hard-working people.

Haiti does not need an army right now, and that is for many reasons.

We cannot fix them all at one time. We have to start somewhere

We have heard it referred to as a 'sewer hole'. I probably have said that myself over the years.

It is from a lack of people that get elected or put into office that will not put the people of Haiti first.

I look forward to a bipartisan conversation about what more can be done to help the Haitian people.
