I appreciate everybody here. I look forward to the questions, and I am going to gather some more information.

This is a wake-up call for American manufacturers and our pharmaceutical companies not to be dependent on a country.

There should be provisional approvals quickly.

We are all on one team. This is Team America and we have to work forward.

This has to be a non-partisan effort. This has to be about looking at the science, following the facts...

We have put so much money into these programs, but yet the results are not there.

But yet this is my eighth year in Congress and I hear the same thing over and over, again, good governance, we are working on rule of law.

I appreciate you all being here. And I want to thank you for the work that you and your agencies do, because I know you do it with a good intention.

Politics needs to go away and it needs to be based on science because this is something that we are all in threat of.

I appreciate everybody being here. And, Mr. Klain, I have this article here and you are saying we need to keep politics out of it and need to be factual based.

We do not want to do this. And I commend everybody that is working on this to this point; it hasn't happened.

A strong America is a strong Mexico. A weakened America is a weakened Mexico. So we are all in this together.

The idea of incentivizing, you know, the officials, whether it is law enforcement, court officials, or whoever in the legal system, to incentivize them, I think, is a good thing.

What I propose is that this country needs to look at things differently.

I think it is a dismal failure.

I am against democracy building in a lot of these countries because they are not ready for it.

Successful reconstruction is incompatible with continuing insecurity, until we have a stable government.

I think Congress can do that and Congress should be the one that does that and it should be the appropriate committees.

Do they want to defeat them?

This Administration may disregard Congress as a co--equal branch of government, and they may ignore congressional authority to authorize the use of military force.

Not pause as to whether or not Soleimani was a bad man who deserved his fate--of course he was and he did--but pause to question whether this action makes us safer today and in the long run.

The President is giving more information to Fox News than to Members of Congress.

I applaud Donald Trump for pulling out of that.

This is a wakeup call, and I am glad these papers came out because this is people within the Chinese Communist Party knowing what he is doing is bad.

The brave Hong Kongers, like Joey here, thank you for coming to our office and I appreciate what you all are standing up to do.
