Ted Yoho is a former U.S. Representative from Florida, serving in the House from January 3, 2013, to January 3, 2021. A member of the Republican Party, Yoho represented Florida's 3rd congressional district. During his time in office, he was known for his focus on issues such as healthcare, agriculture, and fiscal responsibility. Yoho was also a member of the House Freedom Caucus, which advocates for limited government and conservative principles.
Our foreign assistance is a critical foreign diplomacy tool too valuable not to be utilized properly.
If we do think of Russia as an adversary and we do not want to cede influence and control in the Middle East to Russia, well, we just went in the opposite direction.
There has been a civil war going on over there for over 8 years. Eight hundred thousand people have died.
We need to get the hell out of there as quick as we can and let Russia own it.
We have to have an honest conversation about what our long-term strategy is not with a Democratic president or Republican president but long-term because the Middle East is not going to get resolved in the next 4 years or the next 8 years.
We ought to have a real honest conversation about how we approach this region because the reality is what has happened in the last couple weeks has strengthened Assad.
