Ted Yoho

Ted Yoho is a former U.S. Representative from Florida, serving in the House from January 3, 2013, to January 3, 2021. A member of the Republican Party, Yoho represented Florida's 3rd congressional district. During his time in office, he was known for his focus on issues such as healthcare, agriculture, and fiscal responsibility. Yoho was also a member of the House Freedom Caucus, which advocates for limited government and conservative principles.
You can only do what we do as far as creating tools and use those tools, but I hope the message gets out clear.
There is only one aggressor, and that aggressor, of course, as we have heard, is China.
Not until recently have we seen this aggression from China, and it is disturbing to see how aggressively they are.
Yes, it is important militarily and strategically, but it is important for the people of those areas.
There should be a world standard that says from this point forward this is what we are going to do and all these countries that have, you know, chemical weapons, biological weapons, nuclear weapons agree this is where we are going to draw…
And that is what we worry about because with the transshipment and it goes through different channels through Hong Kong to a boat out in the South China Sea and goes from one boat to the other and it shows up.
Nothing drives this point home more than the recent decision to designate the Iran Central Bank because it supports terrorism.
I want to point out that we have created a Pacific Islands Caucus, co-chaired by Ed Case from Hawaii, myself, Ted Yoho, and Don Young.
We have given Central America over $6 billion since 2007, and that money goes to good governance, rule of law, war on drugs, and it can go--you know, job development.
I urge China to not make the same mistake they did 30 years ago in Tiananmen Square by bringing violence into the struggle.
