Ted Yoho is a former U.S. Representative from Florida, serving in the House from January 3, 2013, to January 3, 2021. A member of the Republican Party, Yoho represented Florida's 3rd congressional district. During his time in office, he was known for his focus on issues such as healthcare, agriculture, and fiscal responsibility. Yoho was also a member of the House Freedom Caucus, which advocates for limited government and conservative principles.
I have been working on preventing a unilateral action by this President to transfer Guantanamo Naval Base to the Castro regime for some time now.
It is imperative that the United States Congress asserts its authority as defined in the Constitution over any transference of property from Guantanamo.
No, I think it was something that was negotiated for national security with our President back then that put national security first...
We are just trying to clarify it so that there is no confusion not just with this administration but future administrations.
I find it particularly vexing that American service members spent and pledged their lives and often gave their lives in the fight against exactly that.
I find that particularly irritating and self-destructive as a person who served decades now in the United States military.
These folks in power have no interest at all in changing their ways and they are going to use us and our foolishness, our generosity to further their intentions.
The world, including the United States, needs to be clear about what ISIS is doing.
