We owe them our focus.

I guess what I am trying to get at is trying to identify are we really getting the numbers from VA leadership of how many patients are harmed?

I suspect that the VA's history of allowing the medical facilities to operate independently of each other has made this program complicated.

VA has a long history of failure when it comes to IT modernization efforts, and most of those failures are because VA lacks strong program management.

I am a cosponsor along with Chairman Bost and Ranking Member Takano on the Electronic Health Record Program Restructure, Enhance, Strengthen, and Empower Technology (EHR RESET) Act.

the rhetoric that is coming from the other side is disruptive, and it removes the humanity that we need to look at other people's suffering.

we can live up to our greatness as Americans, but still take care of our neighbors and being great neighbors.

the truth of it is, no one wants to come to the United States. No one wants to leave their family, their home, and be stripped away from their culture.

we have a responsibility to be good neighbors.

Why are investments like these strategically important for us?

One of the announcements included the intent to invest more than 100 million to support conflict prevention efforts in coastal West Africa through the Global Fragility Act.

A political solution is required to address the full scale of this crisis.

Is it accurate that VA continues to keep VistA healthy and plans to until the last proposed EHRM deployment is finished?

If the VA is itself admitting that it does not want and does not have the capacity to manage a VistA modernization, why would we, Congress, force them to?
