So my question is why won't the administration honor Congress' enactment.

Congress recently passed a trade authority bill that, among other provisions, instructed our trade negotiators to oppose any boycotts of Israel including persons doing business in Israel or in Israel-controlled territories.

The bottom line is this is a major change in policy. We've seen the Cuban regime benefit.

This policy is frustrating because you have a country and a regime that has been hostile to us since its inception at the revolution.

For us not to get even one claim paid before we've gone down this road, I obviously think it's bad policy.

I think it's something that's very frustrating to see, you know, the Cuban Government seizing all this property.

I think that they're just gonna keep doing this and try to pocket concessions. So I think that this has been a mistake in approach.

I think that there is--I mean, we need the data, I agree, but there are a lot more questions that haven't been answered.

The State Department considers the government of Iran to be a state sponsor of terrorism.

So my question is is why not err on the side of caution? And if you require someone to get a visa, how does that fact damage our national security?

The United States faces clear and present dangers from Islamic jihadists both at home and abroad.

We're not going to forget that. We can't forget that. And we will get justice.

We face, as Americans, a global jihad, and Israel is ground zero for that fight.

Obviously, when something like this happens, I mean, we want justice, but I think everyone would prefer that this stuff just does not happen to begin with.

We need to make sure that those that have carried out these attacks... are really going to be prosecuted against in this country

Absolutely not. The State Department has nothing to say about cases that we bring, whether in Palestinian territories related to these cases or not.

So let me ask you straight up, is that a consideration the Department of Justice?

I appreciate those words. But I think, as Mr. Roth said, when OVT was created, the idea was you're going to help the victims and then hopefully, facilitate within the DOJ that these prosecutions are happening, and they are not.

We want to protect Americans regardless of who they are victimized by.

It is the American people because our constituents ask us about things.

I mean, I think we would like to have an answer, you know, towards the third week of this month.

We want to get prompt responses. We don't want this to turn into the IRS or some of the other investigations that have just been stonewalled to death.

We don't want a briefing; we want the file. So are you going to produce the file?
