With this pass here--I will just use this one; we don't want to give anybody too much credit here.

People want the money to go for research, people want the money to go for helping women with their health care.

I think the majority of Americans would oppose public Federal dollars going into abortion.

41 percent of the money is coming out of the public treasury, people become concerned.

I think that is the least we can do.

I want you to tell the committee and report back to the committee who is held responsible.

This is a reasonable request, that we hold you--

If a private company, corporation, or individual dumped 7,500 gallons of toxic chemical into a natural waterway, wouldn't there be a penalty? Wouldn't you hold them accountable?

Unfortunately, the FAMS, Federal Air Marshal Service, has had a recent history of a whole host of misconduct on a whole host of occasions.

This is a horrible scandal for our military families.

Every time you attend, you say it just can't get any worse.

I want it within 30 days or I'll ask for your resignation.

I think you should pay the damn bills, pay the 9,000 invoices.

I think every Member of Congress should read yours. I think it's an incredible assessment.

If that doesn't happen or we don't feel that'll happen, two things can happen. We will come back and we will revisit the funding.

We want to make certain that this system is safe and well run and financially responsible.

I have no problem giving the District of Columbia, our national capital, the money to have the finest, most efficient service, but they also have to be accountable.

I feel a lit bit more reassured that at least some of the inspection has been completed on these power connectors.

If we don't get some agreement to get this done and something in writing by the time I get back in September, I guarantee you the fur will fly.

But our responsibility--and we have put a heck of a lot of money, probably more than any other system in the country, Federal money, into the system.

We cannot--we must not--allow this to happen again.
