I believe that if the high-speed rail project in California is not going to get moving quickly, then that money ought to be diverted to shovel-ready projects that would be committed quickly.
People deserve more than a tented, hot--a facility that was a replacement for a storm.
High-speed rail is coming to America, because through 10 administrations, 10 Presidents, and 28 sessions of Congress, we got it done.
I do believe there are corridors in this country that need high-speed rail; we should be focused on them.
What we don't want to do is spend that money in a half-baked process without a good plan to build the whole corridor.
