One of the ways I have always found to improve employee morale--whether it is in the Federal Government, the State, or some other regard--is training.

Do you still believe that is going to be needed?

I think that is a good idea.

I think we are blessed with the leadership that you provide.

I believe that many of the problems we have witnessed at some of our airports are eminently solvable.

If you want to go fast, travel alone. If you want to go far, travel together.

Soft targets have been an area of our focus for quite some time--the airports, specifically--even before Brussels.

Doxing is the practice of taking the name and whatever information is available about an individual and publishing the name and that information and identifying that individual as a potential target of terrorism.

Every person who has been killed by a jihadi terrorist in this country, since 9/11, has been killed by an American citizen or resident.

I would like to ask for just 30 seconds to say something that I think is pertinent.

How is DHS going to ensure that it has ample resources to effectively deal with this threat? How can we help further?

People are concerned that VWP is the soft underbelly.

We have to get more people in these trusted traveler programs.

We stand ready to work with you both--and your colleagues both--to make sure that your Departments have the resources that you need to combat these threats.

We need to get this bill enacted into law as soon as possible, so that we can further help our communities resist ISIS' recruitment efforts.

Securing our borders and our immigration system is, obviously, a key element of keeping us safe...

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the people of Belgium and the people of France...

While our colleague from Florida is on the floor, I thank him for being a loud and vocal proponent and for taking swift action. I thank the Senator for leading the fight.

I think it is something that we need to think about: is this really what we want to do?

I was pleased to join as a co-sponsor of the manager's amendment that we have just been discussing.

Mr. Chairman, could I just ask to be added as a co-sponsor of S. 1479, the brownfields legislation?
