I think that effort which involved hundreds of American personnel and a very sophisticated effort underscores the importance that we attached to doing everything we possibly can to bring Americans in captivity back home.

This was a young man who volunteered to serve his country in uniform at a time of war. That is in itself a very honorable thing.
