David Shulkin is an Independent politician who served as the 9th Secretary of Veterans Affairs under President Donald Trump from February 2017 to March 2018. He was the first non-veteran to hold this position and focused on improving healthcare services for veterans during his tenure. The way that we would fix this is by us redesigning this so that it goes back into the hands of the local VA providers here in Alaska.
