We have to expand broadband into vast swaths of America that don't have it to prop up entrepreneurship and level the playing field there.
We have to reform our immigration policies to make it easier for entrepreneurs and incredibly talented people that come here to contribute to our economy.
This is one of the most bipartisan committees in Congress. We work really well together.
I am a huge supporter of the American Jobs Plan, President Biden's plan, because undoubtedly, I mean, there is, I think, universal agreement that we don't have 21st century infrastructure.
We want to get more people to work and it is not just getting them into jobs, but it is also getting them into great jobs and good jobs.
It is clear that the entrepreneurship crisis is one of the bigger challenges facing this Nation.
Our obligations and our duties are very clear. You know, I've taken many oaths in my life. I was an Army Ranger. I served this country at war three times. I took another oath when I became a member of Congress. That's the oath that we will…
The truth is, Joe Biden won the election. The truth is, the big lie is just that. It's a big lie. The truth is, these conspiracy theories are wrong. And they're dangerous, and they undermine our democracy.
I think they're afraid of the truth. They're afraid of losing elections. They're afraid of the consequences of what voters will do if they know what happened, and who enabled it.
It's extremely disappointing. There's really no other way to put it. And I guess there was another way to put it, but I'm not going to say it on TV here tonight. And it's unfortunate that I'm getting used to being disappointed by the GOP…

we`re not going to wait around forever and we`re not again going to expect Mitch McConnell to wake up tomorrow and have an epiphany and try to do the right thing.
We`ve got 54 votes last week on the bipartisan commission. There were three other votes had they been voting that we think we have.
We`re beyond dog whistles here. They`re just outright trying to undermine the elections.
I think we have to give them the opportunity to do the right thing and do their job. But if they don’t, there are options.
we have to end the filibuster and pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. We just make it law, right? We can stop counting on people`s good graces.
This has to get done. I am sick of playing the game of whack a mole with GOP members in Congress. You know, every time we, you know, address one of their concerns, another one pops up. You just can`t continue to do that forever. We need to…
I hope today's hearing allows us to learn more about these programs, hear about challenges they are currently facing, and examine how this Committee can improve and expand their reach.
