In order to protect the Medicare program for future beneficiaries, Congress must look beyond simply slashing Medicare provider reimbursements.

Our seniors and those with disabilities deserve more than nameless political appointees who will deny care if they decide it costs too much.

This highlights a concern I have. The President and congressional Democrats clearly went out of their way during the legislative debate to hide the fact that this is a tax.

I strongly believe that these resources belong to the people and local needs should drive their management.
